The appearance of the ice mermaid resembles an echo of the origins of life from the primordial period of nature, as she pursues her own freedom and dreams with her unique poise and strength, as Aureolus. Aureolus is made in a serene ice-blue colour, with hot fix rhinestones and irregular sequins sewn all over the gown. The visual density is subtly modified through the fine bead-stitching technique and Swarovski crystals setting. The hollow waistline area is embellished with small zirconia quartz that resembles snowflakes which added the delicate details and preserving the harmonious appearance as a whole. The mermaid bottom hem is made of appliquéd fabric with delicate beaded dangling pieces, whereas the bottom of this gown is adjoined with a hard horse hair trimming which expands the hem area and highlights the mermaid silhouette. The light blue base colour and the zirconia quartz snowflakes embellishment are like a mermaid lying in the snow and ice. The irregular dangling pieces are resembling the water droplets on the mermaid’s body when she emerges from the water, which leads the mind to pursue the dream and freedom beyond the reality.
